A forest of poles grows in the middle of the city. With astonishing acrobatics and dynamic dance elements the performers open up new views of the urban jungle and the relationship with the natural environment. A thrilling production for all the family.

What is still wild in our domesticated world? Do instinct and intuition still determine our behaviour? Or do we rely entirely on the conveniences of a high-tech civilisation that has taken our instincts from us? These are questions that the British group Motionhouse explore in WILD.

From the labyrinth of urban skyscrapers to the undergrowth of the jungle, adventure awaits everywhere! WILD is an exciting, multi-layered new circus for audiences of all ages.

The production will be presented in different locations around the city during the festival. It will be part of the opening on Thursday evening in the courtyard of the town hall. On Friday evening, Motionhouse will perform on the terraces of the Aasee Lake in a stage-like setting and on Saturday afternoon WILD will bring the Hamannplatz in Coerde to life.
